Events:
Men’s Division will compete in six (6) events: Braemar Stone, Sheaf Toss, Stone for Height, Hammer Throw, Weight for Height, and Caber,   Total entries will be limited to 6
 
Women will compete in three events: Braemer Stone, Sheaf Toss, and Caber.  Total entries will be limited to 4.

Athletes must compete in ALL events to qualify for Overall Athlete of the Day in each Class.

Rules:
Competition will be conducted in accordance with NASGA rules.
All athletes must wear a kilt during competition unless waived by prior arrangement with the Athletic Director.
Check in time for all athletes will be from 10:45 to 11:00 AM at the Food Tent.
Judges rulings are final.
 
Eligibility:
Athlete’s eligibility for competition is by two means: Either marks for five of the six heavy events for men or two of three for women, from a prior competition must be recorded below, or the athlete must agree to attend a minimum of two of six scheduled training sessions to occur the first Saturday of each month starting May 2008 and ending October 2008. This requirement is for the safety of the athlete and observers. Contact the Athletic Director for time and place of training sessions.

I hereby authorize The McCullough Scottish Games to use photographs of the above named in their advertising and other purposes in any way relating to The McCullough Scottish Games & Festival activities.
I agree that The McCullough Scottish Games, their officers, directors, members, agents (hereinafter, the "Released Parties") shall not be liable or responsible for injury to me (including paralysis or death) or damage to my property occurring during any McCullough Scottish Games event or activity and resulting from acts or omissions occurring during the performance of the duties of the Released Parties, even where the damage or injury is caused by negligence (except willful neglect). I understand and agree that all members and guests participate voluntarily and at their own risk in all activities and I assume all risks of injury and damage arising out of the conduct of such activities. I release and hold the Released Parties and their heirs harmless from any injury or loss to my person or property which may result from my participation in The McCullough Scottish Games activities and events. I understand that this means that I agree not to sue the Released Parties or their heirs for any injury or resulting damage to myself or my property arising from, or in connection with the performance of their duties in sponsoring, planning or conducting said event.
